Audrey Winter Kahn
I bring to college advising a unique set of managerial and personal skills developed through my education, past jobs, and volunteer experiences. I can quickly solve problems and organize people, all while maintaining a cheerful disposition. My students and their families say that I make the process easier for them by teasing out the important stuff, explaining tasks and expectations, and clearly defining who is doing what, and when. The student, the family, and I work as a team. I hold a BA from Brown University with a double major in Biology and English and an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University. I am a graduate of the Certificate Program in College Counseling, UCLA Extension. I have worked in banking and finance and have held numerous leadership volunteer roles in my community. As an active alumna of Brown for over twenty years, I have interviewed hundreds of undergraduate applicants and served as Bergen County Area Chair for Brown Alumni Schools Committees. I am a member of the Higher Educational Consultants Association and the New Jersey Association of College Admission Counseling. I am often asked to speak to local groups concerning the undergraduate admissions process. Most proudly, I am a mother of two. My daughter recently graduated from Barnard College, and my son is a student at Yale University.
